Yeah, i forgot to mention I changed the dgd version number to be extended
with .net and because it's not standard the mudlib wont be portable after
all. Perhaps i'll try felix suggestion.

As for the define in the standard include, i find it strange to use a define
a include file to a feature present in the driver. I find it more natural
the driver can be queried for what it supports. Perhaps an ide to add a kind
of query_feature kfun to the driver patch creators can modify to signal out
patches have been installed?. That way you could create a mudlib that adapts
itself to the things present in the driver. Perhaps also be able to query
the version number of the patch installed.

Before reacting, remember i don't work on unix, nor have a unix background,
so my programmers view of the world might be different. I use dgd under
win95/winnt4.
