The Intermud thing is raised on this mailing list by three different
people each month, it seems. Surely by now somebody has actually sat
down and made an implementation that is freely distributable to whoever
wants to use it? This is supposed to be the age of the free software
community after all. Hint, hint.

FTP is trickier. I don't think I've heard about anybody writing it. I'm
sure Nino did, though, he's written everything. *nudge*
