[DGD]Extending DGD with custom C code and libraries

What is the "proper way" to provide access to custom C code and
libraries?  I figure that I just link it in somehow and call it from
LPC objects.  Does this mean making it a "kernel" function?

I was just going to link it in and provide access to it via a source
file in the "kfun" directory.  Is this the appropriate course of
action?
