[DGD]Using the kernel lib

Question on the kernel lib: What is the division of code between
/kernel/lib/user.c and /kernel/obj/user.c? I'm hoping that everything
"important" is in /kernel/lib/user.c, and that one can remove and
replace /kernel/obj/user.c without causing any problems. Is that,
indeed, the case? Or are there things in /kernel/obj/user.c which
must be there for the kernel lib to function?
