[DGD]Newbie

Hi .... 

This is my first post to the Mailing List and it's probably not going to get
a reply  ;) 
Basically I am completely new to coding a MUD - I have some great ideas that
me and a friend want to develop - and I have decided to go with DGD. Due in
part to the fact that I have a Macintosh and there is a port.

Basically I am looking for some documentation or something that might help
me in writing a mudlib. I have downloaded a mudlib to look at but basically
I can't find help on the code and how to go about building a mudlib. I have
to admit I sound stupid but the DGD Faq actually didn't make a huge amount
of sense to me. I don't really understand how functions are called etc.

I know probably I am going to get told that I should give up now ... But I
really don't want to. I think my ideas would make a great MUD :)
