[DGD] Server Questions

Hiya,
I am new to LPMud and have a question. I am a server and recently someone 
has tried started an LPMud. I have never run one and need to know if I on 
my end need special files for this. They are having a problem that 
everytime they start it up it dies trying to set the ports. ANy help would 
be greatly appreciated.
