[DGD] Problems with 1.2.33

You're right, it's a memory leak that only happens if something goes wrong
during the configuration phase -- basically memory is not cleared at all.
I will roll a fix into the next patch.

A word of warning -- starting with 1.2.33, the "experimental" line has
definitely become experimental again.
