It is not intended, but I suspect that it is a consequence of compiling
DGD with gcc rather than MS Visual C++ on Windows.  All the proper path
translation functions are tied to the MSVC version, so you don't get
them -- and besides, they probably wouldn't work -- when compiling with
gcc.
