Thanks, worked fine with the surface clone, for a
while.  Now it's not working anylonger, since I
changed the associated values to being mixed arrays. 
Does that require a deeper copy?

I tried to find the code for recursive copying in the
archives, but without any success.  Does someone
remember when, or better, the subject of this mail,
that held this precious code snippet?
