[DGD] EPP 2.3

Put together a new version that works smoothly with DGD 1.2.48:

+ EPP 2.3 -- July 18, 2002:
+ 
+  - Adjusted to slightly altered Makefiles.
+  - Added support for optional source parameter in compile_object() which is
+    then happily ignored for EPP purposes.
+  - Add support for LWO kfun new_object() (which is also ignored for EPP).
+  - Fix generated Makefile to use '-o $@ $<' so that *.o files aren't dumped
+    in the current directory but on their intended destination (to work around
+    apparent GCC 2.95.3 behaviour).

When Dworkin wakes up I hope he'll put it on ftp.dworkin.nl in the
usual place (which looks a bit deserted with no other recent package
releases).

Of course if you find bugs, let me know a.s.a.p as it's been a while
since I worked on this code and I'm a bit rusty. :-)
