[DGD] net package

I've tried to hand-apply the patch from 1.1.97 to
1.2p1.  I've gotten the driver to compile and to 
run, but as soon as I try to run a Melville config 
file (or a kernel lib), I get a null pointer error. 

I'm not about to go chasing around all of Dworkin's 
code to see where I might have added a null pointer 
boo-boo.  I posted something on this back in late 
January.

If you do happen to get something to run, please let 
me know.  good luck! :)
