[DGD] Problems when not on localhost

Two points:  Some firewalls DO block outgoing
connections, to prevent improper use of the computers.
 For example, at the university here, some computers I
used once seem to block all outgoing ports except http
and ssh.  Second, some Linux distros (like RedHat 8.0)
install a firewall by default, without prompting
during the install.
