I later released the 2.4.5 simulation into the public domain, so it
can be used without restriction as part of anything else. The same
is not true for the 2.4.5 mudlib, unfortunately.
Note that to be able to write the 2.4.5 simulation code, I first
studied the original LPmud 2.4.5 source code -- so my re-implementation
in LPC wasn't exactly a clean-room one. Nevertheless I've heard no
complaints from Lars, and neither will I complain if someone
re-implements some idea of algorithm out of DGD, as long as the
code is that person's own.
