[DGD] Dworkin

I didnt read any of the posts for the dbm mails, until i saw dworkins message here. I got curious to see if there was a link. I see that several people have spoken too strongly or made assumptions which not everyone would agree to. Dworkin's role should not have to be an administrator on the defence over some 'flavor of the week' issue, suggestion or what have you. I use DGD and i am getting something for nothing by using it, and i have also regarded dworkins feedback in this mailing list with high esteem for the last few years.
Now i cant blame people for getting excited with ideas, and getting carried away with trying to sell them and such. But the getting carried away part is maybe draining resources from actual progress, especially when off the cuff remarks are made putting each other on the defensive. I wont be specific i dont want to put anyone on the defensive myself, and i hope the people i am speaking of know who they are in hindsight, anyways.
I dont blame anybody for dworkin leaving. This was his way to deal with a particular problem in the forum. IMHO its collective punishment. But its an oppurtunity for a wake up call ( i hope ).
Now lets all sing kum ba ya...and use a bit more caution with our words too, please :)
