dgd v1.2p2 for windows. It runs ok with the minimal mudlib provided.

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Now I tried to setup melville mudlib and it doesn't
work. I tried melville v0.9.1 and v0.8 . My main problem is that the driver dies
silently, without giving any notice about what choked him, so I have no chance
to change the melville-code as needed. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>So my questions are:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Is there a way to persuade the driver to be more
outspoken, give me error messages or a log file? Is there a debug mode I
can switch on?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Do you know what to change on melville to make it
run with v1.2p2 dgd? </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Even if there is a simple change on melville to
make it run I would prefer the first solution, since I would perhaps make other
changes to the mudlib and like to have error reports. </FONT></DIV>
