Hmm, Interesting POV. So IRL is really like a mud that is based on mythological
concepts. I should send a tell to the implementor asking why HE chose
such an odd theme. ;-)

If you are attempting to model the real world (ancient, modern, near-future) and
you wish your character generation system to be as realistic as possible, there
shouldn't be any overriding reason not to implement such differentiation
between the sexes. Whether this is based on genetic/political/cultural conditions,
isn't really the point, the end result in game terms is.

I happen to think an interesting theme would be RPing the frontlines of WWII
Europe. Certainly the roles played by the sexes would be very different. To
make it not so, would make it pure fantasy. There are probably other objections
to such a game based on the current political climate. I have been on a mush
that attempted to model WWI which was a lot of fun if you were in the flying
corps. There were many roles for females too and very interesting ones at that.

I really believe that strong distinctions between the sexes make for a richer
and more interesting mud whether you theme is fantasy, historical or science
fiction. Why would anyone want disregard all this excellent source material
of conflict, intrigue and discord? Hmm, instead of clan wars or race wars, why
not have gender wars? I can see it now... "General, the 3rd amazon battalion
has sacked the palace, captured the Sultan and freed the harem slaves. They
have just sent a ransom note demanding equal rights. What shall we do?"
