Excelennt magic system indeed. He followed it up with two sequels, 
which expanded upon his original premise of laws of magic to 
"metalaws." Not as good as books, but still interesting from that 
perspective. Secret of the Sixth Magic, or some such. I can probably 
dig them up at home...
