Well, pretty much as the subject says: Has anyone looked into CORBA
and possible use for a) inter-MUD networks, and b) MUD component
repositories?

I checked ILU (ftp://ftp.parc.xerox.com/pub/ilu/ilu.html) - the
free ORB from PARC. It's extremely flexible, and would be a good
thing to start. So, has any of the programmer types here tried
to interface their MUD with ORB? The gains become mindblowing
from the moment at least TWO muds do this interface (I did some
preliminary research on linking this with Cold. While not exactly
trivial, it can be done).
