FWIW, The FRPG group forms the core of the builders, designers and 
potential users of the system. Combat mechanics of the game are based 
on the Rolemaster game. I can't run the whole thing by the list.  I 
have run small bits and concepts from it frequently. The FRPG group
has had significant input on the user interface.

My mud is TEXT-only. It has a graphical user interface. I have no 
plans to support telnet clients.

No. Graphical muds may impose these limitations, GUIs do not.
I've just used one to compose this post.
