I disagree.  I would not like to see people posting general mud adverts here,
because that is certainly *not* what this list is for.  I have no objection to 
posts such as:

   After careful consideration of the recent thread on world persistance, I've
   decided to implement it.  It's still in it's early stages, but if anyone
   would like to see it in action, feel free - constructive comments are welcome.

As the above could well be of interest to mud developers.

I'm not too fussed with .sig adverts, although IMO they are no better than
the freemail adverts.
