Noted.  I am hoping to get JCL to support a webpage version, preferably on
kanga. I'm quite happy to pseudo-maintain it from afar but it does mean
some of his time will be nibbled away which I wanna minimise.  I'd much
rather not have the faq live on any server other than kanga.

Agreed but not something I can implement personally.  Also, I do think the
return on investment is kinda small, there's only a handful of bios and I
only lose a few hours every odd month updating the faq which I would waste
vegetating in front of the telly anyway.  I'm a strong believer in filling
my days with things to do (and spreading myself incredibly thinly :)

If this section of the faq survives in some form or other (looks likely) 
I'm gonna poll people every three months.  Privately, of course.  Oh,
anyone wanting to update their bio, a private email will do nicely.

Hurrah!  Others in favour of having bios as opposed to projects.  Hurrah!

Concerning searching, would tags help?  Like:

  [Bubba]
  Bubba
  Rest of bio, blah blah blah

Then you can shunt the bios into a text editor and ask it to find [Bubba]
where Bubba is the name as it would appear in the sender field of his
mailing.  Although, I think you were more thinking of having an html
version to faciliate point and click. :P
