On 11:40 AM 6/9/99 -0700, I personally witnessed Katrina McClelan jumping
up to say:

>will delight in solving puzzles, and creatively handling monsters,

Women aren't the only people who suffer from this sort of distinction,
incidentally. I'd like to get into a group that delights in this kind of
game activity, but in an all-female group there is considerable resistance
to letting MEN into it. Unfortunately, men don't tend to game like this, so
I end up playing rather unsatisfying and unchallenging games with a bunch
of hack and slashers... who almost unanimously agree that this hobby needs
more women in it, since women almost never stick around for more than one
or two sessions in any given mostly-male group unless their
boyfriend/husband is playing in it.
