Hey, I was never claiming this was a *new* idea. It seems obvious, and as
an "obvious" enhancement it has of COURSE been tried before. ;)

I still think sending game-based alerts is a cool idea. So there. :P

This is the primary purpose of my mail implementation, as well. However,
there are so many other things it could do... for the moment, I'm not doing
anything, but I'm building a wish list.

Why? I mean, who would care? ;)

I thought about this. I considered it for a while. UU traditionally had a
file library, and you could download files from it via zmodem. I want to
maintain this file library functionality. 

Then it occurred to me that it would be a lot easier to stick the files on
a real anon-FTP server and just give people the address where we used to
put the file library. It's certainly easier to write. ;)
