There are several interesting things in this realease. First, I've
added rudimentary hooks for multi-lingual capability. Check out the
translations.spec and the say(...) method in commands.cc for some
prototype code. This will allow a spanish speaker to see:
Grock habla 'foo'
and an English speaker to see:
Grock says 'foo'
Obviously I need to find someone fluent to translate :)
I also made mobs 'home' back to their starting position after tracking
down their prey (which will only be PC's now, not other MOBs as before).
The other interesting thing is that g++ 2.7.2, on BSD at least, seems to
be having issues with new template class I made.... Gets all the way
to the linking stage then complains about an un-defined symbol, which has
been so mangled I can't tell what it is talking about!! Gotta find a home
on a Linux box soon w/modern compiler or I'm gonna freak!! :)
It seems to compile and run fine on egcs....
Enjoy,
Ben
