If you mean that an identified perpetrator is charged with the backlog
of unsolved and perhaps unrelated crimes that other perps may have
committed, then this is wonderfully pseudo-realistic.
Adding a touch of xenophobia and racial/class profiling into different
locales justice systems would be interesting. Front end the justice system
with a over zealous police system. For instance, a spike-haired tattooed
dwarf walking through downtown Elf City might get stopped, harassed,
questioned and repeatedly pulled into lineups for any reported crime.
One could also interface the justice system into the reputation points
system. A character could spend reputation and gold in order to avoid a
jury trial. And then there is the dreaded lawyer class...
