Yep, those silly admins at college wouldn't let me run it on the Sparcs,
so this strange thing called Linux, which was only slightly harder to install
than the winsock thing for windows 3.suck, became my OS of choice....  Kinda
like when my 3rd choice elective (weight-training) was given to me in high school...

At the time it seemed like an injustice, but in afterthought, I wouldn't have
had it any other way....it's almost scary to think of the things you might have
missed if not for some stroke of luck that seemed so small at the time...
