I think it was Martin Keegan who coined the term 'Ground Hog Day' to
describe the experience of playing on muds with repop/resets and
endless loops of killing and leveling in a static world.  If you haven't seen 
the movie,   it is worth checking out.  If you have, think about it.  It concisely
captures the essence of the HnSStockMud.  :)
