Most MUSHers have stories about 'newbie from hell'. A few things you
can do if you want to be one:

1. Run around the rooms, trying to cover as much distance as possible
   in the shortest possible time.

2. Pick up anything that isn't rivetted to the ground.

3. Talk in 25-character sentences. Use words such as 'u', 'r', '4' and
   'nog'.

4. Whine about lack of DIKU features (Bubba pages: wheres midgaard???!!!?!)

5. More generally, whine about lack of hack&slash gaming opportunities

It is my general experience that people like this disconnect if left
alone for a few minutes. So they generally get ignored, unless they
ask for help, typically under point 5. above (Bubba pages: how do u
kill things) - in this case they get pointed to helpfiles and either
get a clue or disconnect after a few minutes.

Note that the *only* way to advance on Cajun Nights is to get
roleplaying votes. The only way to get a powerful character is to be
capable of thinking up a decent background file (10-20kb is the
typical length). The only way to get a character is to pass the staff
approval. Needless to say, I don't see any people who do not roleplay.

Other MUSHes I play are similar to this (I brought up CN as an
example).
