Any of you text mud types used Portal? (www.gameaxle.com). They have an
interesting system whereby if you, the mud admin, pay $240 a year to
register your mud with them, then any unregistered user of Portal (client
software) gets to use it as if it were registered whenever he connects to
your mud.
