There is a direct telnet access to the game,
telnet://marrach.skotos.net:8000 , however, you'll need to create your
character using the http pages at http://www.skotos.net/games/marrach/ , and
you'll miss out on many of the features of either of our clients. Over time,
telnet access will be less and less viable as we add new features to the
clients.

Right now we have two clients, an Active-X client for IE/windows that is
fairly robust and clean, and a Java client which proves to me that Java's
promise for client compatibility is a bust -- right now it only works in
Netscape (IE/mac users are out of luck to our great regret). Both change the
web pages under them so that things like our map fragments function. In the
future, both of these clients will change the web pages that they sit inside
in even more ways.
