Add to that the fact that the spell economy really has little effect
on gameplay for most players. In fact it is of such little affect that
there has been great confusion over whether the spell economy affects
fizzle rates rather than the power or time length of spells.

Turbine has confirmed it is the latter...the fizzle rates, well that
can be blamed on their poor random number generator...:)\
