To a certain extent you could consider MERA to be the live
counterpart to MUD-Dev.  

If you have not yet registered for MERA '01 and wish to, the process
to register is as follows:

  1) Create a Kanga.Nu LoginID at:

    http://www.kanga.nu/auth/register.php

  2) Register for MERA '01 at:

    http://www.meraweb.org/conferences/register.php

Both steps require email/web based confirmation (the system will
email you with a "magic URL" to visit to confirm your request.  The
attendee page will update automatically as soon as you have
confirmed your registration.
