Well, there's me...

If you want collected legends and mythologies, you could look for
books from The University of Hawai'i Press.  They have a purchase
point web page <http://www.uhpress.hawaii.edu>, which allows some
decent searches.

Albert Wendt is a good source for Samoan legends, and there's one
children's book called Tala o le Vavau that's also worth a look.

Vivian L. Thompson has written a few books retelling mythologies,
and a couple retelling semi-historical folklore.

My dad's an anthropologist, and growing up in Hawai'i, in regions of
the islands far from the main cities, I know many of the tales by
heart.  Some in Hawai'ian, in the chanted form, even.
