Not only, currently you can download the basic client and you get a
free trial key for one month. Several websites are part of
participating to this promotional program . And you do not have to
forget that EQ is preinstalled on the SONY notebooks as part of a
new marketing strategy to increase in the long term the revenues
from SONY Notebooks/Hardware. So number of copies sold does not tell
much about number of new unique users and customers (if they buy it
or after the first trial month).
