So, you've just described a guild member helping lower lever members
through a quest, though in current games that "ghost mode" character
can also buff other players and kill stuff. Happens in "hack &
slash" games all the time. Probably more so than doing quests as
designed.

Less unfair than web walkthroughs, power-leveling and twinking,
ebay, or any of the other common ways players acquire in-game
cookies.
