NeoPets doesn't meet my strict definition because there is no
simulation of a virtual space. It's got more in common with Pogo or
Yahoo! Games than it does with a mud/mmorpg. Nothing to do with the
client--it's an architectural distinction.

That said, Adam, the creative guy behind it, was a longtime mudder,
and he told me that he actually started out wanting to make a mud.

Habbo Hotel is a mud, IMHO.
