I'm in the closed WoW beta. It's the first MMORPG I've ever
played. I'm not alone in this from other beta testers that I've
talked to. There is a considerable fraction of the people there
who've never played on one before. Part of this is definitely due to
the fact that like all Blizzard games, it was multi-platform from
day one, and that there is a fairly high percentage of Mac users
(like me and my husband). Now I know they hand picked the testers to
get things balanced all around but still it's very interesting to
see so many Mac users who've been so shut out in general from other
games. I will buy it and play at retail release, something I never
thought I'd say about what is still only a graphical MUD. :)
