I agree that the current formula is a success, but to use the
Hero's-journey story analogy... Not every story is a Hero's journey.
Mystery novels certainly aren't. Sit coms aren't. Etc. As a result,
I keep thinking there are some missing genres that are being
overlooked. I could well be wrong, and there might really be only
one genre.
