This will likely depend on how well Turbine designs the endgame for
D&DO. People tend not to complain until they get bored. If the game
makes the race to 20 as fast as it is in normal MMOG's the endgame
will be that point of boredom. If it's a more deliberate pace after
10th level (where paper D&D slows down), the level disparity between
players who are 10+ shouldn't be a big issue (as far as grouping and
balance), which means that you'd have 50% of the levels flagged for
the endgame and it would be a longer process than most MMOG's are
(where the endgame is the quit point due to lack of content). If
Turbine decides to go that way, it's very possible that they can
design a very deep endgame that is worth the ride and stops the
complaints of "I'm bored!" before they have a chance to happen.

Or they can blow it all up to heck and just make the bad stuff
happen sooner.
