Just wanted to underline an important distinction between forced
grouping and WoW forced "questing" :
WoW quests can often be completed in a 30-45 mins. play session,
while anything requiring teaming usually cannot be completed in the
same timeframe.
I have blown that horn for a long time, but I really think WoW and
CoH have shown that the casual players will simply not bother for a
game where grouping is required to access most of the entertainment.
