No argument required.  I was definitely talking about a different
kind of game.  Of course, I didn't think that it is so different
that it couldn't appropriately be called a MUD or an MMORPG, so it
still seemed germaine to this board.  I saw nothing in the original
idea for roaming Orcs that suggested it was only intended to be
tacked onto EQII or in any way was being proposed solely toward an
evolutionary and not a revolutionary design.  I only meant to point
out that some assumptions were being made in dismissing the idea so
quickly.  A lot of great ideas never see the light of day because
designers can only conceive of tacking them on directly to what is
already out there instead of imagining a different kind of game.
Personally, I think people will eventually get tired of playing the
same game.
