I am one of those players for whom "the look" is extremely important.
Probably one of the reasons I no longer play WoW is simply that I don't
wish to spend man months trying to get a set of armor that doesn;t make
me look like a clown school dropout. The only things that match are the
tiered raid gear and I don't particularly care for raids for probably
the same reasons I don't try to get my "look" on as a social reward.
Yet, at the same time, I am in a very social, completely immersed RP
guild with its own language and a strong focus on socialization.
