I never said they were. I just said that on a text based server, you
have better conversations. Part of that is audience, but there are
plenty of people who play both kinds of games, and you can't have good
conversations with them on standard MMOs. The interface is in the way.

Yes they do. You can't type effectively and use a mouse at the same
time. The two activities involve entirely different muscle groups and
parts of the brain. On a text-based game, playing the game and having
a conversation are both done on the keyboard - same muscles, same part
of the brain. In order for graphical games to do conversation well,
they need to either come up with an effective way to do it while using
a mouse to play the game, or make it equally as effective to play with
the keyboard as with the mouse. The latter is probably not possible.
