I can't remember which talk it was at AGC a couple of years ago but it
was about casual games. Apparently some of the most hardcore players out
there are the ladies (and gentlemen too) on Yahoo games. There are
collectors there that go after all of the little rewards they offer.
Apparently they really hit a winner with the recognition system. i think
they called it pogs but my googfoo is not finding anything.

Anyone have reference to this?
