[MUD-Dev2] Since when has MUD-DEV become MUD-MARKETING

Okay,

Maybe I'm just tired and irritable.  And I understand that we all have
axes to grind from time to time.
And anyone who has been around here awhile knows I can be irascible... BUT...

But is it just me who feels that, lately, the signal to noise has gone
down with increased attention from
people whose only real goal is to try to market to the MUD/MMO
developer community?

I mean I suppose in some ways we should be flattered that we've
actually gotten the attention
of marketdroids... but I miss the days of real content.
