I agree, and in light of this, one has to really wonder why Blizzard has
chosen to remove lan/tcp-ip play from Diablo 3. That's basically a deal
breaker for me, which is shocking since Diablo 2 is one of my favorite
games of all time. But one of the reasons it was my favorite was because
of the fun from lan/tcp-ip play. I don't want to rely on someone else's
servers.
