I hate bothering you all with my mail. The lib work has been going well
though. I've taken the 2.4.5 mudlib and been rewriting it.
So far I've added new features to cd,more,ls,rmdir, and mkdir. Also I
broke up soul.d into 2 parts so it wouldn't be so much to load into a
player. I used a modified bit of Heaven7 lib to do the soul thing.. though
I've added to it. ls also now shows when a program has been loaded with a
* at the end of the filename.
I'm not at all familiar with this mailing list.. so I don't know if
people on here are game-designers or what. If anyone is interested I'll
certainly let them look at the work I've done lib-wise. *I'll be doing a
LOT of work eventually*. The ANSI thing seems to have me whooped though.
I suddenly realized that the Gnuwin32 compile of DGD will probably have to
be run under Gnuwin32.. *DUH*.. If I was going to use the linux version I'd
be better off putting Linux on my machine to begin with rather than using
an emulator.
    So here's my offer :)
If anyone has MSVC and has compiled the DGD with the ANSI patch.. I'll
call in a credit card purchase of pizza for wherever they live and have it
delivered. *fears trying to discuss pizza with a Dominoes in Cairo,
Egypt*. I'm really hung on this thing.. and I'm wanting to get past it and
go straight on into lib work. I'm serious about the pizza offer :)
Thanks you all for all the email on the ANSI stuff! I know I'm being a
bastard trying to run this on Win95. But I've run Linux.. and while I do
like most of it, I'm so much more at home on the MS platform.
