I've decided to pick up the network package from where Erwin left off. 
I don't use the EPP package, and to be perfectly honest know very little
about it.  So, if someone else wants to pick that one up, then raise
your hand ;)

I'll hopefully have something out for the network package within a week
or two, time permitting.
