Is there any archive of current (compiled) win32 versions? Are there
other significant differences apart from the "nil" support? The latest
version I found on pulic FTPs was the aforementioned 1.1p7. I don't own
any compiler nor do I have any experience with compiling source code.

That's strange because my standard fixed-width font is called "Fixedsys"
(used in all other applications including "Notepad") and the font I see
in DGD is definitely something different (for example the characters
seem to be about twice as wide as they are high).
