[DGD]The net package

I'm running DGD version 1.1.75 (the experimental branch - I figured nil
alone was worth it).  I'd like to install the network package, but the most
recent version I can find will only work with 1.1p8 (and even then patch
complains about /doc/Introduction).

Is there anything I can do?  There's no way I can go back to a version
without nil, and I'd like to keep parse_string as well.  But I need
networking.  Is there a more recent version of the package?
